The Galaxy S23 Ultra and Plus will be the two most advanced versions of the new generation of mobile phones that Samsung will present on February 1 at the first Galaxy Unboxed year. The series has seen several leaks in recent weeks, but now the images are coming to us (they say real) of its design and colors.

Dutch website New Mobile posted a series of pictures (renders), which ensures the corresponding official press materials and give us our best look yet at Samsung’s new flagships. Confirming previous leaks, the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Plus don’t look too different in overall design from what the S22 offers.

The Ultra model looks almost identical. It has the largest body (in metal and glass) of the series with a 6.8-inch OLED display and flatter design inherited from the Galaxy Note. Like these, it retains stylus support, and Samsung will ship the S-Pen with the terminal. One of the novelties for this version will be a camera system with an impressive resolution sensor, a 200-megapixel ISOCELL. The back of the Ultra also appears to be flatter than what the current model offers.

The Plus and standard versions won’t change too much either, with a few curvier bodies than the Ultra version and a set of triple sensor cameras at the back. A subtle but refined design change is now the camera area does not have a highlighted border The S22 and the cameras seem to be cut right out of the main body of the mobile phone.

As for the color scheme, the pictures tell us that there will be four at the start, Phantom Black, Cotton Flower, Botanic Green and Mystic Lilac. The new green color is quite subtle and it is possible that Samsung will release other colors depending on the region after the official launch.

If there is no revolution in the external aspect, there will be new internal hardware and not only because it contains more powerful chipsets. Historically, Samsung has assembled two different engines in the series, and for example, only Exynos versions arrived in Europe, while in the United States they were only available with Snapdragon. Performance tests showed that Qualcomm’s SoCs were significantly faster and consumed less than Samsung’s own. Something that was not reasonable given that they were sold at the same price.

With the S23, this problem will end, as the information that has surfaced says so Samsung will use the Samsung Snapdragon for the entire S23 series. We’ll confirm this on February 1st at the Unpacked event, which we’ll be covering live.
