Although for big launches, Apple always resorts to its features key notes, during each year there are also less exceptional launches, generally smaller renewals of existing devices, but which are also interesting for all fans of the Cupertino product catalog. Unlike presentations, these announcements are not advanced in advance.
Instead, Apple usually resorts to publishing a statement in the press section of its website, allowing the media to chime in and continue spreading the news if they see fit. interesting enough (something that usually ends up happening in the vast majority of cases). And yes, something that these low and high depths have in common is the high frequency at which they are usually filtered.
For several years now, leakers have tended to push the dates in which the most anticipated presentations will take place with good success, but for some time now we have seen the same thing starting to happen with the versions that are resolved by the press release. The most recent example can be found in tweet of popular leaker Jon Prosser in which recommends that we stay tuned to Apple’s press site tomorrow: “stay tuned tomorrow for the apple editorial ๐”.

It’s surprising that Apple is considering starting a 2023 launch schedule so early, when we’re still recovering from the excesses of Christmas. These days, however, it’s been years since the first iPhone was announced, as well as the first MacBook Air, so it makes sense to think that the company is looking to regain a media presence at the start of the year.
Be that as it may, the time has come to ask what Apple will announce tomorrow if Prosser’s procedure is finally confirmed, and in this regard there are two most likely options (not mutually exclusive): updated models of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro and Mac mini. In this sense, we can speculate that these are the teams that were seen about a month ago on Steam.
As a reminder, unlike the 13-inch model, the currently available 14-inch and 16-inch Pro notebooks are equipped with the M1 chip, so the M2 versions should arrive later this year and possibly tomorrow. And the same goes for the Mac mini, which at the moment is also maintained with the first generation of Apple silicon and therefore has to be renewed in the same year 2023.
Another possibility, although it seems less likely, is that it is a 15-inch MacBook Air, which we have at least in principle expected to arrive this spring.
