The researchers connected the sensor to an electronic system to detect odors with a sensitivity level 10,000 times higher than current electronic devices.
“The sensor sends out electrical signals that the robot can detect and interpret in response to the presence of a scent nearby. In light of the success of their research, the researchers believe that this technology could also be used in the future to detect explosives, drugs, diseases, etc.”
It has been noted that Israeli scientists are planning to develop a robot capable of navigation, which will allow it to identify the source and identity of the smell, in their future work.
As reported by Ukrinform, an international group of scientists has developed the world’s first technology based on metal learning that allows you to type text without a keyboard.
