The Galaxy S23 Ultra will be the “jewel in the crown” of the new generation of smartphones that Samsung plans to introduce on February 1. This terminal will maintain the line and design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and we can also look forward to it the same quality of surface treatmentswhich means that the most important changes introduced by this model will be present hardware level.
It is important for you to keep in mind that the Galaxy S23 Ultra has not yet been officially unveiled, so all the information we have comes from unofficial sources. However, these sources have some reputation and we have filtered the information to keep only those that actually have a high level of credibility. It also means that we don’t expect major changes in everything we’re going to tell you, especially considering that we’re less than two weeks away from the launch of this terminal.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra will retain, as we said, the design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which means that we will once again meet sharp broken line and some pointed corners that will clearly differentiate it from the rest of the Galaxy S23 family, which will have a more rounded design. It is no coincidence that the design is the legacy that the “Ultra” model received from the defunct Galaxy Note series.
The configuration will be repeated on the back side four cameras arranged horizontally and fully integrated into the chassis, and on the front we will have a full-screen treatment and a camera integrated into a floating island that will be located in the middle. We won’t see the jump to a front-facing camera integrated into the screen this year either, so we’ll have to wait.
Regarding the quality of materials, we know that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will use a aluminum chassis, and that it will have a sheet of glass Gorilla Glass Victus 2 one at the back and one at the front. This material has a high resistance to falls and scratches and Samsung will again include protection against dust and water necessary to achieve IP68 certification, which means that this terminal can withstand immersion in fresh water for 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 1.5 meters.
As one would expect The S-Pen will reappear. This stylus will have a latency of just 2.8 milliseconds, connect via Bluetooth and offer a very interesting feature set for professionals. It will be included in the delivery and will be integrated into a slot inside the terminal itself to make it easier to transport and not to lose it easily.
We already told you that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will bring interesting changes at the hardware level. We shouldn’t expect a revolution, but enough news to justify a generational leap. In this sense, the most important improvements will be on the new SoC and on the main camera.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra will use a SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a chip that is much more powerful than the Exynos 2200 present in the Galaxy S22 Ultra and will use a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor in its main camera, a clear development compared to the 108MP sensor fitted to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. We do not expect changes in the RAM memory configuration, nor in the storage capacity.
To give you a more complete picture of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and compare it with the current model, I want to share with you a complete list of its specifications:

We already know that Samsung will present the Galaxy S23 Ultra on February 1 and that this event could also serve as a backdrop for the announcement of the Galaxy S22 FE, but it is not yet clear when the said terminal will be available and its sale price has also not been disclosed, so both are still up in the air.
Nevertheless, I can share with you a fairly reliable estimate. I think it’s most likely that the Galaxy S23 Ultra and the other models will be available from the same day, February 1st, a few days later at the most, and that Samsung will try to keep the price listed. terminal at the level of the current model.stimulate demand. If confirmed, the price of the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be around 1,259 euros.
We cannot rule out that there will be an increase in the price of the mentioned terminal, but in the event that this happens I don’t think it will be too pronouncedand it seems unlikely that Samsung will be willing to exceed 1,300 euros with the basic configuration of 8 GB and 128 GB of storage capacity.
