Although, I admit, I’m not very prone to headphones of this format, these Creative Zen Air are the kind of devices that force me to reevaluate my habits and preferences and maybe even step out of the so-called comfort zone for who knows, maybe the realization that what I long missing, it is more and better than I thought, or at least what I remember from my experiences in the (already somewhat distant) past.

As you may have gathered from the pictures, I’m talking about earbuds, and wireless ones in particular, and when I mention reevaluating my preferences, I’m also talking about the feeling I have after reviewing the specifications of this new design from Creative , which, in addition to being convinced by them, I find it even more interesting when I see the price I am listing below. At this point, I can tell you that if you like this type of headset, this is a great choice. And if you don’t like this type of headset… maybe it’s time to think again.

Built on two separate 10mm neodymium drivers, the Creative Zen Air represents an evolutionary leap in the brand’s design paradigm with a more minimalistic and elegant appearance and the adoption of white, which is also found in the charging case. They are also very light, with only five grams per handset, to which we have to add the mere 36 grams of its charging case if we go outside with it.

But we are talking about headphones, so the most important thing is undoubtedly their sound quality. In this regard, it is most remarkable that offers active noise cancellation. In this model we will not have the application that we find in higher models such as the Creative Sensemore Air, but we are offered ambient modes (with partial reduction) and full cancellation to choose the most suitable option and, above all, safe if we use them when we walk down the street

We won’t have to give up positional sound either, as these Creative Zen Air are compatible with upcoming SXFI Ready devices that will feature Super X-Fi Spatial Holography technology. Thanks to it, the headphones are able to very reliably emulate the presence of several speakers at different positions in the headset itself.

As for their autonomy, each full charge of the headphones can give us up to six hours of use, which, thanks to the charging case, climbs to no less than 18 hours of full autonomy. They use Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and are IPX4 certified to guarantee durability.

The Creative Zen Air are already on sale and although their regular price is €59.99, you can currently find them on the Creative website for just €39.99.
