Ukrinform reported that the related video was posted on the company’s YouTube channel.
The robot can jump and run on the terrain with obstacles, as well as lift and throw objects thanks to the grip function of its upper limb.
“Atlas interacts with objects and changes course to reach its destination,” the developers say.
The posted video shows Atlas delivering a bag of tools to a worker at the pier.
Atlas is a bipedal humanoid robot developed by the American robotics company Boston Dynamics with funding and oversight from the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DAPRA). The 1.8-meter-long robot, created to perform various search and rescue missions, was presented to the public on July 11, 2013.
