The numerous leaks that have been happening have revealed almost all the keys to the Galaxy S23 family. We already know its design and we are clear about its hardware specifications and we even have an official launch date which is scheduled for February 1st. However, we were missing important information that had been left up in the air until now, Galaxy S23 price.

Thanks to a leaked document from Verizon, we were able to know the price of the Galaxy S23 and we have good news, Samsung is not going to raise prices of this new family of smartphones, meaning they’ll keep it on par with the current generation, at least in the United States.

These are The official prices that the next generation of Samsung will have according to Verizon:

• The Galaxy S23 will cost $799.99 in the base configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
• The Galaxy S23+ will cost $999.99 in its base version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
• The Galaxy S23 Ultra will cost 1,199.99 euros, also in the basic configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage capacity.

It looks like we were right with our prediction that Samsung won’t raise the prices of the Galaxy S23. However, we must keep in mind that these figures only apply to the US market and that how much they will cost in Spain has not yet been confirmed. Making a direct conversion to euros and applying 21% VATThose prices would look like this:

• Galaxy S23: 892.76 euros.
• Galaxy S23+: 1,115.95 euros.
• Galaxy S23 Ultra: 1,339.15 euros.

The Galaxy S22 has arrived in Spain with a price 849 euroscosts Galaxy S22+ €1,059 and the Galaxy S22 Ultra had an introductory price €1,259. With that in mind, and given the results we got from this direct currency conversion and VAT application, I would not yet dare to assure you that Samsung is not going to increase the price of the Galaxy S23 in Spain. Less remains to be discovered.

This Verizon document leak also confirmed important things about the Galaxy S23’s specs, such as the amount of RAM and storage we’ve already seen, configuration of cameras that each model will have, SoC and screen size. This is how each model will be configured:

• Galaxy S23: 6.1-inch FHD+ display, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 50MP rear camera, 12MP wide-angle and 10MP telephoto. 3,900 mAh battery.
• Galaxy S23+: 6.6-inch FHD+ display, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 50MP rear camera, 12MP wide-angle and 10MP telephoto. 4,700 mAh battery.
• Galaxy S23 Ultra: 6.8-inch QHD+ display, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 200MP rear camera, 12MP wide-angle, 10MP telephoto and 10MP periscope telephoto. 5000 mAh battery.
