The “traditional” drone autonomy is 34 minutes, again not making it clear how this mode works, increasing flight time by 38%. The drone supports the concept of a weight of less than 250 grams, namely 249, but now with slightly larger propellers and, according to the announcement, with an optimized design for better aerodynamics.

Another highlight is the 48 MP 1/1.3 (0.77-inch) CMOS sensor camera with f/1.7 aperture, which should deliver good results in low light. The camera supports 4K 60FFPS video recording with HDR, D-Cinelike mode and 4x digital zoom. As a novelty among drones, the DJI Mini 3 Pro will have a camera that allows you to switch between landscape mode (traditional) and portrait mode (vertical) simply with a command, causing the gimbal to “rotate” the camera 90 degrees, ensuring that in vertical mode the camera offers all its resolution, interesting situation to post on social networks like Tiktok, Instagram Reals, Youtube Shots and more.

Thanks to sensors in three directions, the drone will have an anti-collision system at the front, bottom and rear. Sensor-related APAS 4.0 technology (the same Air 2S version) will allow the drone to avoid obstacles in automatic flights. The Mini 3 will support Focus Track including ActiveTrack 4.0, Sportlight 2.0 and Point of View 3.0.

In addition to the automatic flight modes, Master Shots makes its first appearance with a model from the Mini line. This mode creates automatic takes with an emphasis on something defined by the user. Hyperlapse (time-lapse), panoramic photos and fast file transfer QuickTransfer at speeds up to 30 MB / s are also present in the drone.

When it comes to controls, there are two options: the traditional RC-N1 and the new DJI RC with built-in screen, which is a simpler version of the RC Pro that comes with models like the Mavic 3 Cine. The Mini 3 comes with O3 Connectivity technology, allowing you to fly up to 12 km and transmit in 1080p 30 fps from the drone to a device connected to the controller or to the DJI RC.

The official launch may take place at the end of this month or in May, after which sales will begin. We already have news about the alleged prices of the drone, but nothing official. In the new leak, there is an advertisement for a drone that costs 829 euros in the simplest kit, a very high cost for this model, very similar to the Mavic Air 2, a drone that should be discontinued with the introduction of the Mini 3.
