Mobile World Congress will be held in Barcelona, ​​Spain, from February 27 to March 3 this year. Technology fairs like CES in January are places where smartphone manufacturers showcase their innovative products. While OnePlus did not confirm its presence at MWC, informant Max Jambor revealed some details about the company’s plans.

According to Jambor, OnePlus will announce a concept phone at the upcoming MWC 2023. It will be called the OnePlus Concept Two. However, details on what will be included in the device are currently scarce. As with concept products, we can expect it to have breakthrough technology and industry-first features. It is worth noting that it will most likely come to light as a concept phone, but we can expect some features to appear on mainstream devices on the market.

The OnePlus Concept Two could follow the OnePlus Concept One that the brand showcased at CES three years ago in 2020. The latter was developed in partnership with automaker Mclaren. It had a leather back panel with orange accents and a black vertical stripe in the middle. At the top of the back panel, the black strip in the middle housed the three vertically arranged camera lenses that were missing. The concept was intriguing at the time, but sadly it never took hold.

OnePlus can showcase its passion for foldable phones with the OnePlus Concept Two at MWC 2023. We’ll have to wait for the tech fair to start next month.
