Check out the five most affordable electric cars in Brazil in January 2023.

  • 1 – JAC E-JS1: BRL 145,900

This is a car launched on our market in November 2021. This machine has a 61 hp engine. and a torque of 15.3 µgf. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 13 seconds with 30 kWh batteries. As for the dimensions, it has a length of 3.65 meters and a wheelbase of 2.39 meters.

  • 2 – Renault Quid E-Tech: BRL 146,990

This is a slightly more recent product, released in May 2022. As for its engine, it has a power of 65 hp. and a torque of 11.5 µgf. Its length is 3.68 meters, and the wheelbase is 2.42 meters. This is one of the most popular options because the price difference compared to the JAC model is much smaller.

  • 3) Kaoa Chery iCar: BRL 149,990

This one is in a special position. The initial offer was to be the cheapest in Brazil; however, it has suffered a 10,000 reais increase in its trajectory, which still makes it a good option in terms of cost-effectiveness, but moves it out of the top of the most affordable list. A 61 hp engine is offered, with a torque of 15.3 µgf. 30.8 kWh battery with a range of up to 282 km. As for its length, it has 3.20 meters and 2.15 meters of wheelbase.

  • 4) Peugeot e-208 GT: BRL 235,990

Like the previous model, this one has recently gone through a price change, but is still in a good position. It offers a 136 hp engine, one of the best in this aspect at the moment, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. Its autonomy exceeds 360 km.

  • 5) JAC E-JS4: BRL 239,900

Last on this list, but far from the last. Its recent price cut has increased its popularity. Has a 150 hp engine. and a maximum torque of 34.7 µgf. Its lithium iron phosphate batteries have a capacity of 55 kWh and a range of 420 km. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.5 seconds, has a length of 4.4 meters and a wheelbase of 2.62 meters.
