Last week we published our updated guide to projectors, highlighting portable models as a good starting point for home cinema due to their advantages of portability, versatility of use and generally lower price. The new LG Cinebeam PF510Q, which the South Korean firm has just launched, is a good example of a premium portable projector.
LG says its new projector “offers users a unique entertainment experience without sacrificing comfort or quality”. And it is that its light and compact design (weighing less than 1 kg) makes it easy to transport it from one room to another or on the go in combination with any space, as it is able to display content on screens from 30 inches to 120 inches.

Technically, the LG Cinebeam PF510Q is equipped with a 4-channel (RGBB) LED lamp capable of offering a brightness of 450 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 150,000:1. Supports native resolution FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels), has automatic vertical keystone distortion correction, and the manufacturer promises a lamp life of up to 30,000 hours.
It has two HDMI input ports, Ethernet LAN and also USB, although that is its strong point can work without the need for external resources because the webOS 22 operating system it uses makes it easy to access streaming services and devices such as Disney+, PrimeVideo, YouTube or AppleTV+, is compatible with Apple Air Play and Apple Home, and can also wirelessly receive content from Android devices with Integrated Screen Sharing .

It also has a 5-watt speaker (mono), which will only serve for basic use, but here again it excels with easy connection to external audio systems with Bluetooth Audio Dual Out support.
The LG Cinebeam PF510Q is now available in the United States for 599 dollars and we hope that the manufacturer will distribute it to other markets soon. Obviously, it won’t compete in picture quality with fixed 4K models (like the ones LG has in this same line), but it will achieve its goal and bring the smart TV experience to any part of the home, home theater or video. games.
