According to information from Janko Rettgersfrom the website LFSamsung is considering bringing access to the Samsung TV Plus streaming service to other brands of smart TVs, one of which is TKL. If Rettgers is right, Samsung and TCL have been talking about bringing the service to their TVs for months now, but it’s not known at this point if the talks have progressed.
Rettgers asked TCL about including the Samsung TV Plus service on their TVs, but a company spokesman declined to comment. A Samsung spokesman said he would not comment on the activities of competing companies.

The streaming service Samsung TV Plus was originally launched in 2015 in South Korea. Over time, Samsung expanded the availability of the service to other regions, including Brazil. At the moment, the service has more than 1600 channels, but channel availability varies by region.
The channels available in Brazil are divided into categories such as News, Entertainment, Movies, Kids and Sports. Other smart TV makers like LG, Vizion, and the aforementioned TCL also include TV streaming apps like Pluto TV, Peacock, Tubi, Roku, and Amazon Freevee. If Samsung TV Plus is even offered on TVs from other brands, it will have to face competition from those other apps.
