OUR Microsoft started testing a new feature on version 111 from browser Microsoft Edge available to program members Microsoft Edge Insider Program which allows users to display two pages side by side in one window from browser. The novelty is initially available to participants who have chosen the channel canary.

For those who don’t know or remember, Microsoft Edge browser trials are available through the Microsoft Edge Insider program through three distribution channels: Beta (updated every four weeks), developer (updated weekly) and canary (updated daily). It is worth noting that the browser is available on the Canary Channel contains more experimental features and therefore it can be more unstable. How to enable split windows in Microsoft Edge 111
The new split window feature in Microsoft Edge 11, available to Microsoft Edge Insiders, can be useful for users who need to compare specific pages without having to spend time dragging windows or switching between different open tabs.
To enable the new feature, you first need to download and install version 111 of the browser using the link provided at the beginning of this post. After installing it, enter edge://flags in the address bar and click enter.
Now find and enable the element Microsoft EdgeSplit screen as shown in the image below:
