Motorola is updating its budget E and G series mobile phones

Motorola Moto G73 leads the update presented by the manufacturer to refresh its catalog cheap mid-range and entry-level mobile phones. As usual, the aim is to offer the best possible ratio between characteristics/price and thus compete with the Chinese manufacturers who have their most valuable terminals in this market segment.

Four new models from the G series and one from the E series are introduced, which has committed to the cheapest price and a special version of Android 13 Go. Let’s take a look at its main specifications.

Motorola Moto G73

It is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its chipset is the MediaTek Dimensity 930, complemented by 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage expandable via microSD cards. A dual sensor is mounted on the main one, one 50MP and the other front 16MP for selfies. Its battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh with 30-watt fast charging. Updated to Android 13 and with various color modifications, its official price is 299 euros.

Motorola Moto G53

It mounts the same screen as its older brother, a 6.5-inch IPS with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but with a lower resolution, 1600 x 720 pixels. Its chipset is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ with 4 GB of memory and 128 GB of expandable storage using microSD cards. It offers the same cameras, a dual sensor in the main with one 50MP and another front for selfies 16MP. Its battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh with 10-watt fast charging. It pre-installs Android 13 and is also distributed in several colors with an official price 249 euros.

Motorola Moto G23 and G13

Their basis is a 6.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Both use the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC with 4GB of memory and 128GB of storage expandable via microSD cards. The differences are in the cameras, the G13 has lower resolution sensors. Android 13 also has their respective prices 230 euros and 180 euros.

Motorola Moto E13

The cheapest of the presented phones is based on a 6.5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Its chipset is Unisoc T606 with 2GB of memory and 64GB for expandable storage. It has simple 13 and 5MP cameras, but the same G-series, 5,000mAh batteries with 10W fast charging. With Android 13 Go Edition, its price drops to 120 euros.

The novelty from Motorola will be launched in Europe and Latin America this quarter. An attractive renewal of the catalog in the segment of the smartphone market where this manufacturer excels.
