Important Microsoft services are out of order or have a malfunction after a problem with the company’s internal networks. The failure affects the Office suite, the Outlook mail client, the Teams communication client, or the Xbox Live online gaming client.

The drop in Microsoft’s services has hit countries around the world since 7am and, as expected, has trended on social media with tens of millions of users using it.

Microsoft has acknowledged the problem puts it on their main network and says they are working on a solution. “We have identified a potential network issue and are reviewing telemetry to determine next steps to resolve the issues”you can read on Twitter:

You also report in real time on the Microsoft 365 Admin Center website. Most of the services affected are professional, although there are other consumer services such as the aforementioned Xbox Live and games such as Minecraft Y fate. The list is not exhaustive and includes:

If it affects you in any way, be patient, there is little you can do. Service declines at major tech companies happen from time to time, and because the world today depends so much on them eventually affecting tens of millions of users.
