The number of action users has increased by 20% since the start of the full-scale invasion and has now reached 18.6 million.
This was announced by Mstislav Banik, head of electronic services development at the Ministry of Digital Transformation, during a briefing at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center.
“When the war started, Diya had 15.5-16 million unique users. Very quickly that number grew to 18 million and now it’s 18.6 million. Indeed, that’s almost more than half of Ukraine’s entire adult population.”
According to the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, today 52% of Ukrainians use “Diya” for comparison – in 2021 this indicator was 30%, in 2020 – 13%. In particular, 63% of Ukrainians currently use electronic services, which is 4 times more than in 2020.
The most popular government e-services remain: use of the “Diya” application or portal; receive subsidies, benefits, social benefits; obtaining passports, providing pensions and solving personal transportation problems.
At the same time, compared to 2020, the use of electronic services has increased among Ukrainians of all age categories. Especially since the highest growth is among the elderly, the age gap is narrowing.
“The older audience is really starting to use more. According to our dashboards, we have 4.5 million users over the age of 60,” added Banik.
As reported, 39 new services were launched in the Diya application and portal in 2022.
