Apple will start fighting programs that no longer receive updates. The company sent the developers an email warning them.

The letter says that Apple will remove apps that “haven’t been updated for a long time” from the App Store. The company gives developers only 30 days to update.

It is stated that all previously downloaded applications will remain on users’ devices, despite Apple removing old applications from the App Store.

Some developers have already expressed their concerns about this change. Some said that games and programs for the visually impaired are at risk. A page has already appeared in the App Store that reads, “We are running an ongoing process to evaluate programs, remove programs that no longer work properly, do not meet current testing guidelines, or are outdated.”
