OUR Google Meetings is becoming more and more of a complete tool for making video calls for work. Now Google aims to make the platform even better by allowing the user to share documents from a presentation through a conversation without leaving the window to do so.

Share documents via Meet

With this novelty, the platform allows the user to quickly make what has been presented available to other users using the new button “Share in Meet Chat“. Currently, a novelty will allow the presenter to send slides to participants.

In addition to this new button Google indicated that sharing an open document for a presentation would also be offered in the conversation chat. Lets you quickly provide a link to a file if users want to access the content. In doing so, the company wants to help users not “switch to another window to grant access, which can be disruptive.”
