This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to the Independent.
“It is a hill with a V-shaped collapsed structure (nose), two craters (eyes) and a circular refraction pattern (head). It looks like a bear’s face,” said the University of Arizona.
A strange geological formation on Mars consists of two craters that look like the eyes of a “bear” and a V-shaped collapsed ridge that looks like a bear’s nose and mouth.
The researchers say the circular crack pattern may be the result of sediment settling on top of a buried crater, and the bear’s “nose” is likely a volcanic or mud hole.
According to experts, the material that settled on the crater could be lava flows or mud.
Last May, NASA’s Curiosity rover spotted a strange rock formation on the Red Planet that appears to be an “alien gateway.”
