Ministry of Digitization launches “Ukrainian Startups Cabinet” platform to support top companies

The Ministry of Digital Transformation, together with the Innovation Development Fund and Ukrainian online publication AIN.UA, is launching the “Ukrainian Startups Cabinet” platform for the development of technological initiatives.

According to Ukrinform, this was announced on Telegram by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

“Our philosophy is to change the rules and think outside the box. So why don’t I turn the elevator I take every day into a place for startups’ pitches? Also make a YouTube show of the Ukraine Startups Cabinet from it. To support the best Ukrainian companies. Mainly military tech. focused on,” he said.

The platform will allow teams to present their initiatives to the head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the head of state. AIN.UA. In return, participants receive practical advice on how to improve their products. The meeting with the experts takes place in the Council of Ministers elevator, where everyone will have only 1 minute for a presentation.

In the first edition, technological solutions were demonstrated by three initiatives that received grants from the Development Fund. Among them: DrillApp – a mobile application for tactical shooting and self-defense training, TOR – a patented training complex based on virtual reality devices, Nolelgator – a semantic search engine for scientific articles, patents and clinical trials.

As reported, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of digitalization and digital sustainability.
