Microsoft is expanding the capabilities of Windows 11. In the new test build of the system, support for a full-screen panel with widgets appeared. Additionally, third-party widgets can now be installed. Previously, widgets were displayed in a relatively small window, but now the full-screen version will allow you to fit more data on the screen. This allows you to see a lot of information at once without switching windows: time, schedule, emails, etc.

As the source states, third-party widgets will be hosted on the Microsoft Store, meaning they can be downloaded as regular apps.

So far, this is only possible on the Insider build of Windows 11. The full-screen widget panel uses the Windows Web Experience Pack (423,300.0.0). In the future, it will appear in the Windows 11 Moment 2 update, which is expected to be released next month. It was previously reported that Microsoft has warned about automatic PC updates to the new version of the operating system.
