ASUS introduced its new Vivobook Go notebooks, a series for mass consumption that is distributed in two models with 14 and 15 inchesbased on AMD’s latest processors, the Ryzen 7000.
At 17.9mm thick and weighing just 1.3kg, the new Vivobook Go laptops are designed to be compact enough to fit into any backpack and light enough to carry with one hand. To ensure their durability in everyday use, they are tested according to the latest military standard MIL-STD-810H. Other details to highlight are its hinge that allows angles of up to 180 degrees and the elegant V-shaped air outlet to facilitate cooling.

The Vivobook Go 15 (model E1504F) offers a choice of three screens up to a high-performance OLED not usually seen in this market range, with a 15.6-inch diagonal, native FHD resolution, 400 nits brightness, Pantone-verified color reproduction and 100% color gamut support DCI-P3. The Vivobook Go 14 (model E1404F) uses a 14-inch IPS panel with FHD resolution. Both are TÜV Rheinland certified to reduce nuisance blue light.
They both use laptops the latest generation of AMD processors, Ryzen 7000 Mobile with Radeon 610M GPU, 16GB RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD for storage. The connectivity section is well covered with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 and a good number of USB 3.2 ports (Type C and Type A), HDMI video output and audio combo jack.

They also have a 720p webcam that includes a privacy shutter, an ASUS ErgoSense keyboard, a large touchpad, and an optional fingerprint sensor. To enhance the sound section, the manufacturer supports DTS Audio and includes the SonicMaster application. It has 50 or 42Wh batteries that can be quickly charged up to 60% of their capacity in 49 minutes.

The new Vivobook Go laptops will be available in three colors, black, white and green, with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and apps like MyASUS that make it easy to access firmware and app updates, customer service and performance optimization. No price was given, but they must be marketed at a cheap price taking into account that this is a series intended for mass consumption. It won’t be long before we see them on the ASUS portal and retail channel.
