Some of the changes concern navigation, which will be 60% smoother than in the previous version of the software; a total of eight applications that cannot be uninstalled and will take up 1.5 GB less than the previous version; four icon sizes to choose from, in addition to the ability to add “cute and interactive things” to the screen, such as animal avatars; a family account feature that allows you to share files by subscription with up to nine people; revised privacy with end-to-end encryption and local processing of user data on the device; toggle to disable persistent notifications; merging duplicate files and improved text recognition and image extraction in the gallery; it will also offer new widgets, custom folders, and other system design changes.
MIUI 14 is coming to all of the models listed above that are sold in China, but the deadline for updating to devices with the global version has not yet been set.
