NASA announced the details of the 41st flight of the Ingenuity helicopter to Mars

The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced the successful completion of the 41st flight of the Ingenuity Mars helicopter.

In this respect twitter Reports NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), reports Ukrinform.

“Congratulations to the Perseverance rover crew on the successful 41st flyby of Ingenuity, which took off into the Martian sky to provide a bird’s-eye view of the terrain.”

The laboratory also recorded that the Mars helicopter flew 183 meters in 109 seconds on January 27.

As Ukrinform reports, the Ingenuity helicopter was delivered to the Red Planet on February 18, 2021, along with NASA’s Perseverance rover, after nearly seven months of flight. Ingenuity made its maiden flight on 19 April. The $85 million helicopter became the first plane to be launched from another planet.
