Musk tweeted at around 10 am on Wednesday morning, “You kept my account private until tomorrow morning to see if you see more of my private tweets than my public tweets.”
On Tuesday, user Yang Miles Cheong posted the results of a test on Twitter that showed that a tweet sent while his account was closed received significantly more likes and views than the same tweet he posted while his account was open.
Musk said it was an “extremely disturbing phenomenon” and promised to do his own experiment later.
As reported, American billionaire Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion in October 2022.
