Intermediate versions of MIUI are becoming commonplace for Xiaomi, as with Android there is a great opportunity to fix optimization bugs and add settings to global firmware versions.
We will do without the traditional (already) performance improvements and system optimizations, and immediately proceed to the changes that can be seen on the smartphone screen.
Even before the release of MIUI 13, company representatives have long talked about the new one-handed control mode, which requires improvement. In addition to the usual scrolling down (which changes the interface), Xiaomi is adding a new menu design to all important apps.

Now it is located in the middle of a small window instead of stretching to full screen, which greatly simplifies the management of the “oars”.
Some Settings menus were also displayed, such as the section to change the screen frequency, which includes the ability to select the adaptive setting (if supported by the smartphone).

And the so-called floating windows in the menu of recent programs will be displayed as a separate tab. A similar version is now available in some versions of MIUI Desktop.
Some widgets will be added to regional versions of MIUI. Also, a new feature to share your Internet connection will be added to most Xiaomi smartphones.
But the main change that can make MIUI 13.5 almost the best version, we consider the improvement of the proximity sensor, because for users of many gadgets, this is one of the main disadvantages of MIUI.
Which smartphones will have the update?
Since the previous list was posted on the forums, several more models have been released that may be suitable for a new version of MIUI.
So, the list (for today) looks like this:

The only thing that is surprising is the existence of the Redmi Note 8 (2021), since its characteristics are clearly inferior to the flagship smartphones of previous years, therefore, theoretically, they can be updated, of course, if not for marketing.
