At Integrated Systems Europe 2023 (ISE), Chinese manufacturer BOE unveiled 110″ 8K 3D display that can be seen from all angles. The display has 8K resolution with 3D technology without the need for additional hardware.

The new monitor from the Chinese manufacturer BOE is an interesting novelty on the market, since the images on the screen can be viewed in 3D from any angle, by several people at the same time, without the need for additional equipment. The information was shared by the Chinese portal IT Home.

According to information released by the company, BOE’s new 110-inch 3D screen offers a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 3D viewing distance of up to 1.5 meters. To enable the rendering of 3D effects without the need for additional resources, the company uses QD (Quantum Dot) Mini LED backlight technology. During the event, the Bank of England stated that it intends to increase the viewing distance of 3D images in the future. The large 110-inch 8K monitor is designed to be used as a corporate product in large companies at large-scale meetings or as equipment for product marketing.

The company invests in mini LED displays

At ISE 2023, BOE also unveiled its first active mini LED display with P0.9 162 glass using patented technology. BOE MLED Filp-chip Cob P0.9 can reach 1000 nits brightness and high contrast ratio, turning even the darkest images into vibrant colors.

In addition, the Chinese manufacturer also introduced a 65-inch ultra-thin 8K Mini LED display with 3024 Micro-LED dimming zones for indoor or outdoor installation. According to the company, the product is highly resistant to high temperatures and is recommended for business customers who want to use the monitor at outdoor events. Despite the unknown brand name, the 3D technology presented by the company is interesting from different angles, but without being able to see the display in action, it is difficult to say anything about the real quality of the device, especially considering the PPI (pixels per inch) of a 110-inch 8K TV.
