The Galaxy S23 series of smartphones includes three new models: the standard S23, the slightly more expensive S23+ and the top model S23 Ultra.
The S23 and S23+ start at $799 and $1,000 respectively. At the same time, the most advanced S23 Ultra model will be available starting at $1,200.
Moreover, the S23 Ultra packs a massive 5,000mAh battery, while the S23 Plus and S23 pack a 4,700mAh and 3,900mAh battery, respectively.
The company notes that the most expensive of the three models, the Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 200-megapixel “adaptive pixel” sensor that combines 16 pixels into one larger pixel for brighter, more detailed pictures in low-light conditions.
All three smartphones are currently available for pre-order and will hit the shelves on February 17.
It is noted that Samsung’s new line will have to compete with the iPhone 14, which Apple launched in September last year.
As reported by Ukrinform, the volume of the global smartphone market in the fourth quarter of 2022 decreased by 17% compared to the same period last year.
