The Ukrainian designer of SkyNet drones, Mykhailo Dronov, presented a new version of the drone, a bomber.
“Finally, I put together a new version of the drone – a bomber, because the kamikaze is not for everyone. It made the first technical flight”said Mykhailo.
The developer explained that kamikazes are too expensive to prevent exploitation. Therefore, the new modification can return after the mission by resetting the combat unit.
The dimensions and weight of the drone have been increased. “With a range of 50 km, I am planning a load of 3 kg or you can put more weight. But the range will be shorter,” stressed the developer.
According to Dronov, if a kamikaze can land at long range, that plane can recover the plane by dropping its warhead from low altitude and its effectiveness might be the same.
Currently, the designer has already developed three SkyNet complexes. “This is the last iteration that needs to be perfected”– pointed out the developer.
