Kyiv Digital is now integrated with Diya. Petro Olenych, head of digital transformation in Kyiv and vice-president of KMDA, said that it is no longer necessary to photograph and upload documents to “Kyiv Digital”.
As noted, previously users only had to manually take a photo of their driver’s license. After the fine was paid, the vehicle registration certificate and the photos of the driver’s license were sent to the inspectorate for examination. The drivers waited until the inspector checked the documents and approved the application for the return of the car.
KMDA noted that the integration with “Diya” makes it possible to return the car faster and without paper documents.
The user needs to download copies of digital documents through “Diya” and will immediately receive a QR code to pick up the car from the penalty area. Thus, the entire process of returning the car will be paperless, that is, only with digital documents, the message says.
