The HP Fortis series was created last year by an American manufacturer focusing on the education sector. Six different models were then launched to take advantage of the launch of Windows 11 SE, a variant dedicated to teaching Microsoft’s latest system. Now, HP strengthens the line with two new modelsone for Windows and one for Chrome OS.

Both are formats convertible and value range designed with rugged chassis, reinforced ports and corners and spill-resistant keyboards in mind. Both use a multi-touch screen 11.6 inches and 360 degree hinges which allow for use in laptop, tablet, tent or stand modes.

HP Pro x360 Fortis 11 G11 this is a pre-installed Windows 11 (or Windows 10) model. It premieres low-cost, low-power Intel N processors that the chip giant will present at the recent CES trade show. It is accompanied by up to 16 GB of RAM and can use eMMC or SSD storage of up to 256 GB for storage.

This version supports pressure-sensitive touchpads that can be placed in the cover above the keyboard when not in use. It supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, an optional 4G LTE modem to support mobile broadband and Ethernet, HDMI, USB Type-C and Type-A ports. It has dual front and rear cameras and its official price includes 479 dollars.

HP Fortis x360 11 G3 Chromebook it’s a Chrome OS model. It uses processors from Intel, but from the previous generation Celeron and Pentium with 8 Gbytes of RAM and eMMC storage of up to 64 Gbytes.

It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 and includes two USB Type-C ports and two Type-A ports. It has a 720p webcam and an optional 5MP rear camera.
