According to sources close to Microsoft, the Redmond-based company plans to incorporate OpenAI’s latest neural network model, known as GPT-4, into its Bing search engine in the coming weeks.
Many experts have already voiced the view that this move could pose a serious challenge to Google’s dominance in the search space. A search engine based on such advanced artificial intelligence is expected to respond much faster and provide more human-like and detailed answers.
No less interesting are OpenAI’s plans for the extremely popular ChatGPT. It turns out that the developers are planning to release a mobile application for interaction with the neural network. At the same time, images and videos can be created using Dall-E.
Let us remind you that this is not the first week that the Internet started talking about the inclusion of OpenAI software in Microsoft products will lead to new competition in the Internet search space. The last time this happened was at the beginning of the 21st century, when Google overtook Yahoo.
