The manuscript found in the library archives was a copy of this work, made at the end of the 17th century, long after the author’s death. It was discovered during research by experts from the University of Vienna and the University of Valladolid, who used artificial intelligence to decipher 1,300 anonymous manuscripts and books. To determine the authorship of works, the method of studying the order of use of words by one or another author was used.

The researchers associate the found text closely with the name Lope de Vega, because she was the only one among the more than 350 authors whose work was also part of the experiment to use such expressions.

The found artifact will be published in Spanish in the coming months and will once again be available to the public.

As reported, Apple has started using artificial intelligence (AI) to voice audiobooks on its Apple Books service.
