Google conducted an experiment where it became clear that ChatGPT neural network skills are sufficient to successfully pass an interview for a third-level programmer position at an IT company (in Google’s engineering divisions, this degree is a beginner). This is reported in the PC Mag post.
As part of the test, the neural network was asked to answer a few questions Google asks programmers when hiring. Examples of questions were not given, but it was stated that they mostly concern the technical part of programmers.
According to the results, Google received a survey from ChatGPT that met their requirements to hire a third-level programmer with an annual salary of $183,000.
ChatGPT stated that a neural network cannot replace a human programmer. According to him, he does not have the resources for creativity and critical thinking for this. Also, the neural network believes that its work should be controlled by one person in any case.
