recently whatsapp started testing new products for Statuswhich will allow you to post sounds and reactions with emojis inspired by Stories from Instagram. Now a messenger facebook announced that this new feature is becoming available to all users.

What’s new in whatsapp status

As recently shown in the Android beta, the platform will now allow the user to post audio up to 30 seconds in your statuses. This new feature will work very similar to the feature of sending a voice message in conversations, while the user will be able to listen to the audio again before publishing.

ABOUT whatsapp showed that with the new update for Status platform now has improved audience selector. Now users will be able to quickly choose who can see their status. In addition, the app will save the user’s choice to use as the default for future posts.

Something that was quite expected by platform users was the ability to respond to statuses with emoticonssimilar to the one currently in Instagram. The feature is finally available on the messaging app, which will display up to eight emojis so the user can quickly reply to a message.

Another long awaited feature is view published links in the status, which will give users a preview of which page the link leads to. A new notification ring is also being introduced on the user’s profile picture. This will make it easier to determine when the contact posted the status.
