Always ahead of his time and innovative in his approach to filmmaking, Scott chose a Samsung device to shoot high-quality footage and create the desired atmosphere in his latest work.

The project was created by Samsung to demonstrate the capabilities of their new device. In addition to Ridley Scott, the project features photographs by Flavio Labiano. The Spanish cinematographer has made wonderful films such as Jungle Cruise, Nightmare in the Mountains, Shallow Waters and Unknown.
The production of the short film “Here” was carried out using the latest technologies, including the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Director Ridley Scott commented on his anxiety and fear of recording on a mobile phone due to the quality. “At first, I was afraid that I would not have the opportunities that I usually have. But once I got comfortable with the configuration, I was quite surprised by the versatility of the hardware.“, – said the director during the creation of a video provided by the brand.
