It’s official, Netflix has confirmed the end of shared accounts in Spain for people who don’t live at the same address. This means that you will still be able to share your account with everyone in your core family, but not with people who live outside of it. To dispel your doubts, here are some very simple examples:

• If you live at the same address, you can still share the account with your parents and partner.
• You cannot share your account with your parents or partner if they live elsewhere.
• You can use your account to connect away from home, for example if you’re going on a trip and want to enjoy Netflix on your laptop or smartphone.

• Once there, select “Manage Main Location”.
• Select the verification method you want to use.
• You will receive a link, click it and confirm that this is the location you want to set as primary.
• If you move, you can immediately change your primary location by repeating these steps.

How to add new subscribers to share an account with people who don’t live with you

• Log in and click on “buy extra subscription card” in the main menu.
