DJI has announced its first drone of 2023, model DJI Mini 2 SE arrives as another one from the Mini line weighing up to 250 grams, with low price attractiveness in the assortment of the company. The main highlight of the Mini 2 SE is the support for the communication system. OcuSync 2 (O2) between the aircraft and the control system, allowing the aircraft to reach up to 10 km control distance, in addition to better signal stability.

OcuSync 2 / O2

OcuSync 2 technology allows the drone to communicate with the remote controller and it is responsible for the distance the drone can reach as well as the quality of the images that will be streamed live from the drone’s camera to the smartphone connected to the remote controller, in this case, 720p .

This was the only change the Mini 2 SE drone actually brought to the Mini SE, apart from other minor optimizations. In addition to a longer distance, this technology also provides much better signal stability than the previous one, so the aircraft does not lose signal as easily at intermediate distances up to the maximum supported by the model.
