Windows 11 was launched in October 2021 and has since become a part of the lives of those who own more modern computers. What many don’t know, however, is that a huge amount of information about our accesses, programs, searches, and purchases is now being sent by Microsoft to several other institutions to collect consumer data.

The YouTube channel “The PC Security Channel” showed how the operating system sends all of this using the Wireshark app, showing the public how all of our network connections sending works. However, doing absolutely nothing with the PC, they determine its geolocation and the actions it performs inside the machine, such as “accessing the desktop” and the like.

We already know that we are constantly being analyzed, but there are some concerns about companies that receive all the data for their own purposes. One example is the ScoreCard Research website, which does not provide much information on its official page and ensures that it only studies and reports on online behavior and trends. He is among several others that the general public knows nothing about and manipulates everything we do online for their own purposes.

In the video, we see a comparison of Windows XP and Windows 11, showing that while one only accesses one of Microsoft’s servers, the other distributes various information directly to third parties. We are talking about computers that have just been installed, without any additional programs from other companies such as Adobe, Google and a few others. The PC Security Channel warns that even if you use specialized programs to turn off telemetry inside your PC, Windows 11 continues to send information to everyone.

Microsoft and ByteDance argue over algorithms

In recent years, what companies like Microsoft and TikTok’s ByteDance are doing with citizens’ personal information has become a major concern. Not only because its algorithms are a big mystery to the governments of the world, and we have free access to all this, but also because this research and data can take direction in our lives and in the future.

While China’s ByteDance is constantly questioned by the algorithm and even made it available to the US government for review, other companies continue to send information about our customs to corporations and for their own purposes. Meta, Microsoft, Google, and a few others are at the center of the debate, and there is still no regulation that defines the endpoint or limits of action.
