Space debris is a real problem for many countries

Currently, there are millions of fragments of old rockets, satellites and other debris in orbit around the planet. Some of these components can hold fuel and a collision can lead to serious accidents.

According to Chinese researchers, the debris is the result of more than 640 different events, including explosions, destruction and collisions, that have occurred over 65 years of space exploration.
