Electric mobility company Zinc has launched its Venture electric scooter in the UK. The new electric scooter is an affordable and comfortable product available to UK consumers. Venture is a mix of an electric scooter and an electric bike, combining aspects of both worlds.
The Zinc Venture e-scooter is a great city bike. Its concept combines the practicality and ease of use of an electric scooter with the comfort and stability of an electric bike. It has a height-adjustable seat and is effortless to pedal. For its action, it relies solely on a wing-mounted 250W motor. Venture has a top speed of 15.5 mph, which meets current regulatory speed standards for electric scooters in the UK.
The Venture e-scooter has 14 inch wheels that are big enough to make the ride more comfortable. Thicker tires provide more comfort than conventional electric scooters on the market. Springs under the seat provide additional comfort even on rough terrain. The electronic scooter is folding, but weighs 17.3 kg. It has rear and front disc brakes and front and rear LED lights.
There are no details yet about the installation of the Zinc Venture e-scooter battery. Although no details are available yet, Venture’s range could be up to 15 miles. Zink says the battery can be fully charged in four hours. The Zinc Venture e-scooter is priced at £500 ($602) in the UK.
Launch of the Venture e-scooter is subject to the adoption of new e-scooter legislation in the UK. Once such legislation is implemented, the bike will attract many customers due to its affordability, comfort and reasonable speed.
