The Intel company has “secret” software that can perfectly automatically overclock processors. Renowned overclocking expert Der8auer visited the Intel lab where, among other things, he saw running a special application ROC (Real-Time Overclocking) designed for fast, easy but ultra-fine overclocking of processors.
As the name suggests, overclocking happens in real time. The software is similar to Intel’s XTU (eXtreme Tuning Utility) available to users, but ROC is much easier to use and allows direct control of individual cores.
As an experiment, Der8auer tried overclocking the mobile CPU Core i9-13900HK. The processor almost matched the 6 GHz, which is impressive for a mobile solution, but the goal was not achieved. However, the CPU performed excellently at 5.8 GHz. The ROC program is not available and will not yet be available to regular users. Whether this will change in the future is unknown.
