Google Drive is getting a copy and paste feature
Even though Google Drive is one of the largest cloud storages, it does not provide users with some important tools and shortcuts. In early 2022, an update was finally implemented with the basic features frequently requested by users, making copy and paste available via keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V on Windows or Cmd + C and Cmd + V on Mac.
You can now use Ctrl + X and Ctrl + V or Cmd + X and Cmd + V to cut and paste folders and documents. Despite its simplicity, the new update greatly simplifies the routine of the user who previously had to move files from folder to folder. On this occasion, the Google team points out: “It saves you time by allowing you to copy one or more files and move them to new Drive locations and multiple tabs with fewer clicks.”
