On Monday, Apple released iOS 16.3.1 for iPhone devices, as well as iPadOS 16.3.1 for iPad. The update includes performance fixes for iCloud, Siri, and Find My. The biggest news, however, collision detection improvements.

The collision detection system gives the Japanese problems

While iOS 17 should bring new features, Apple continues to work on optimizing the experience of iOS 16. This is one of the main novelties of the device, as well as the most criticized tool of the new operating system.

The Kita-Alps Fire Department in Nagano, Japan is suffering from false positives from its iPhone 14 detection system. The Japanese Alps are located in the Honshu region, where the country’s highest mountain ranges are located. From December 16 to January 23, the Kita Alps fire department reported 134 false alarms due to skiers coming down the mountains..
