One of Elon Musk’s most famous moves since his arrival on Twitter is undoubtedly the p.run a survey asking social network users whether he should stay on the company’s board in the role of chief executive officer (CEO) or yes, on the contrary, the participants believed that it was best for him to leave the position. I’ve always had my doubts about what outcome to expect, because that’s where his intelligence comes into conflict (yes, I’ve made it clear many times that I don’t like him at all, but we can’t deny him intelligence) with his ego, which would materialize, would be so large and so dense that it could probably swallow the occasional black hole.

As you may recall, the survey result was that I had to leave Twitter because 57% of participants decided they should resign. His answer? He’ll do that once he finds a “dumb enough” replacement. That’s like saying nothing at the moment of truth because he didn’t commit to doing it on a certain date, after certain successes, or when Mars and Pluto align with the Big Dipper. As a result, from the first moment he gave the impression that, whether he liked it or not, he would take it quite calmly.

So much so that since then we’ve again had several reports of Elon Musk’s decisions at the helm of Twitter, but no word on when or how he will hand over executive management to someone elsewhich is claimed not only by Twitter users who voted for his departure, but also by investors, shareholders and clients of other companies in which he is also the CEO, such as Tesla and SpaceX.

However, it seems that the subject has not been completely forgotten and that, surprise, an approximate date is up in the air. Of course, you’d better wait seated because things will take a long time. As we can read in Bloomberg, Elon Musk has announced that he will step down as CEO of Twitter at the end of 2023that is, more than a year after the end of the survey, and stated that he was looking for “fool» take over the social network.

Now, if you’re one of those people who have been waiting for him to leave, don’t rush to mark December this year on your calendar, because this is just an estimate given by Musk himself. And his target is none other than wait until you clean up your social media accounts and create a solid plantwo goals that, given the “today” of Twitter, invite us to think that he said the end of 2023 the same as he could have said about 2024, 2028, or the day when a human being reaches Mars, because they seem really distant targets.

I personally feel that way his huge ego prevents him from assuming that the majority of Twitter, represented by all the people who took part in the survey, do not want him at the head of the social network. Of course, he will still be able to own it, but his chaotic management style and unpopular decisions have not served to win him the favor of the general public, but rather a certain antipathy, which I personally completely understand.
