A Microsoft moving forward in his new venture in bing with technology ChatGPTtrying to win new users. However, this limitation may soon be overcome as Bing ChatGPT technology may be extended to other browsers in the future.

Microsoft Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Yusuf Mehdi announced on Twitter that Bing and Edge are being prioritized. According to Mehdi, if a user tries to use this feature in a browser other than Edge, such as in chromiumyou’ll get a message telling you that you need to use Edge to access Bing.

However, the chief executive reassured users by stating that “over time we plan to make it available for all browsers“. This means that Bing ChatGPT technology can be extended to other browsers such as Opera, Firefox, and others, allowing users to enjoy the feature on their preferred browsing platforms.

Microsoft Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Yusuf Mehdi said that “several million” people are on the waiting list to try out the new version of Bing. Although some have already had the opportunity to test the AI-enhanced feature, the launch has been gradual. As such, Mehdi revealed that the tech giant plans to scale up the launch, reaching “millions of people starting in the next few weeks“.

Mehdi also explained how Microsoft selects the first testers for a new feature:we are now testing people in 169 countries and seeing a lot of engagement with new features like chat.“In this way, the company aims to provide a wide reach and participation of users from different countries and regions, allowing you to test and improve the new Bing technology on a global scale.
