Service View e-mail, which belongs to Microsoft, does not generally have a good reputation when it comes to spam filtering, however, many users have been reporting through social media in recent hours that their The inbox was filled with junk mail that should have been filtered by the serviceso they concluded that the filter or filters were broken.

Outlook’s spam filtering problems are apparently not from a bug introduced or created in the last few hours, but could be from a deterioration that has occurred over the last few weeks, or at least that’s what the media is speculating about. The Verge. Outlook’s recent inability to filter spam or properly filter spam is affecting users in at least North America and Europe.

In addition to the inconvenience of looking at an inbox full of spam, or The worst are the constant notifications that come to users who use Outlook mobile or a compatible mail client with Microsoft service. If spam filtering problems are affected, it is advisable to disable notifications until the Redmond giant fixes them, which obviously forces users to manually monitor their correspondence.

Microsoft, at least for now, has not responded to The Verge’s request for an explanation, but given the complaints that are being published on social networks and that the media are already reproducing, it would be logical to think that sooner or later they will publish at least some statement about it.

Yippee This is not the first serious incident Outlook has faced in this current year 2023, because just a month ago, the email service experienced a worldwide downturn that affected Office, Teams, and Xbox Live, among others. Microsoft’s dominance in the consumer market meant that it affected tens of millions of users worldwide.
