Researchers from Oregon have identified 27 climate processes that will accelerate global temperature rise in the near term.

“We have uncovered a wide range of climate factors intensifying as a result of rising temperatures as well as accelerating global warming. A new study has examined how the rate of global temperature rise will be affected by various climate events: They will accelerate, limit, or, in that sense, neutralize global warming. In addition to the melting of permafrost, forest and peat fires, droughts, the death of plants from pests and many other non-anthropogenic factors came into the field of view of scientists. It turns out that 27 climate events will accelerate warming. The other seven will be neutral with respect to the rise in temperatures, and seven will limit warming.

Especially the shrinking of the sea ice area, the increase in the amount of precipitation in the Sahara Desert and the shrinkage of its area due to the green vegetation will limit the increase in the global temperature.
