The list of the most cited universities in the world and the highest H-index has been published.

Harran University, which has always been on the agenda in recent years with its radical changes and project-oriented studies, continues to sign important projects in the world and in Turkey.

Research.com, one of the leading platforms providing reliable data on scientific contributions since 2014, is regarded as one of the most prestigious evaluation institutions in the world. In the ranking made for 2022 by “research.com”, which shows the achievements of universities and researchers in the world in many different disciplines, such as computer, earth science, medicine, biology, veterinary science, mathematics, Harran University, many in the the field of plant science and agronomy, in the world and in Turkey. It managed to take its place in 303rd place, leaving the established universities behind.

Harran University took its place in the list of only 4 universities from Turkey.

The ranking of universities is based on the h-index and bibliometric indicators. The ranking process takes place through a detailed assessment of 166,880 research profiles from Google Scholar and the Microsoft Academic Graph.

More than 2,575 profiles were examined for the discipline of Plant Sciences and Agricultural Sciences. Scientists from more than 594 institutions and affiliations were analyzed.
