Samsung announced on Wednesday (22) a feature for the Bixby assistant that allows users to clone their own voice to answer calls. Whoever answers the call can type in responses and Bixby will read the message in his own voice. According to the company, Bixby Custom Voice Creator can be used when the user is unable to speak out loud.

While Apple is working on something similar, with voice cloning for answering calls, Samsung is taking the first step, and soon voice assistants on mobile devices will be able to copy our speech.
